Site Superintendent

6ixBuild is looking for an experienced Site Superintendent to join our construction team and oversee day-to-day site operations on our commercial construction projects.

• Manage and coordinate daily on-site construction activities
• Supervise subcontractors, trades, labour, and site operations
• Ensure work is completed according to drawings, specifications, and project requirements
• Monitor project schedules and coordinate the sequencing of trades
• Conduct daily site inspections and monitor quality of workmanship
• Identify and resolve site issues to minimize delays
• Coordinate material, equipment, and manpower requirements
• Maintain a safe, organized, and productive job site
• Work closely with the Project Manager, Project Coordinator, consultants, and subcontractors
• Provide regular updates on site progress, upcoming work, and potential issues
• Ensure compliance with Ontario health and safety requirements

• Minimum 5 years of construction experience, with previous experience as a Site Superintendent or Site Supervisor preferred
• Strong experience with commercial construction projects
• Strong knowledge of construction methods and site operations
• Ability to read and understand architectural, structural, civil, and MEP drawings
• Strong leadership and subcontractor coordination skills
• Ability to plan ahead, prioritize work, and solve problems on site
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Knowledge of Ontario construction safety requirements
