The Construction Inspector role is critical in the York Telecom Network, where you will inspect construction projects related to telecom infrastructure. This temporary, full-time position requires experience in construction inspection and knowledge of regulatory requirements. Your work will ensure projects are executed as per specifications and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect construction stages for workmanship and materials
• Ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and permits
• Check measurements and relevant construction details
• Arrange material testing and evaluate results
• Document safety compliance and any discrepancies
Requirements:
• Secondary school diploma and related college course
• At least five years of construction inspection experience
• Knowledge of telecom projects and engineering drawings
• Valid Ontario Class “G” driver's license
• Understanding of construction standards and contract law
