The Customer Service Representative supports Dentec Safety by matching our safety products with each customer’s unique needs. You’ll provide quality customer service in an efficient, knowledgeable, and timely manner. Importantly, you will share the founder’s commitment to protecting people and appropriately represent our brand and values in all customer and stakeholder interactions.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email.
- Process sales orders and invoices.
- Manage EDI and customer product template uploads.
- Provide administrative support for e-commerce, including the maintenance and administration of online content for authorized e-tail partners.
- Maintain accurate customer records and files using the CRM database.
- Stay informed about product availability, benefits, and pricing to answer customer questions.
- Handle customer inquiries, provide solutions within time limits, and follow up to ensure satisfaction.
- Greet customers and create rapport to build lasting relationships.
- Support sales and marketing projects as needed.
- Apply a consistent customer service mindset to all interactions with customers and coworkers.
- Post-secondary diploma or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of successful customer service experience.
- Experience working in a technical or industrial organization, providing customer service and inside sales support.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Proficient working knowledge of CRM/ERP databases and software.
- Growth Mindset: Desire to learn a wide range of skills, especially in customer service, marketing, sales, and project management.
- Bilingual: English and French (an asset).
- Leadership: Natural leadership qualities.
- Detail-Oriented: Excellent multitasking and organizational skills.
- Time Management: Ability to work efficiently and meet tight deadlines in high-pressure environments.
- Adaptability: Thrives in dynamic environments and works well both independently and in a team setting.
- Quick Learner: Self-motivated with a proven track record of taking initiative and moving projects forward.
- Strong Communication: Exceptional analytical and communication skills.
