Join the Recreation and Culture Team at the Town of Newmarket. This role requires someone who is passionate about the arts and enjoys assisting patrons before, during, and after events. Successful candidates must demonstrate strong interpersonal abilities and maintain cleanliness in public areas, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide courteous service at concession and bar areas

• Maintain cleanliness in lobbies and seating areas

• Organize front‑of‑house storage and supplies

• Monitor compliance with safety and accessibility standards

• Respond to patron inquiries effectively

Requirements:

• Experience in customer service or hospitality

• Smart Serve certification or willingness to obtain

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a dynamic theatre environment

• Current Intermediate First Aid & CPR-C certification required
