Customer-Focused Theatre Attendant

Join the Town of Newmarket’s Recreation and Culture Team as a Theatre Attendant for Fall/Winter/Spring . Ideal candidates will have customer service or performing arts experience, showcasing strong communication skills and a passion for community engagement. This role will require flexibility, including evening and weekend shifts, to support various events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver courteous service in concession and bar areas

• Maintain cleanliness in lobbies and seating areas

• Organize storage rooms and front-of-house supplies

• Monitor facilities for safety and accessibility compliance

• Assist patrons with inquiries and accessibility needs

Requirements:

• Experience in customer service or hospitality

• Smart Serve certification or ability to obtain it

• Current Intermediate First Aid & CPR-C certification

• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Police Vulnerable Sector Check required
