Join the Town of Newmarket as a Language Arts Educator, teaching engaging classes in multiple languages to a diverse age group from preschool to adult. This recreation program role focuses on community impact and learner development.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality language arts classes tailored to various participants. Your work includes class design, administration, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols. You will also collaborate with other programmers to enhance class engagement and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and deliver engaging language arts programs across age levels.
• Maintain attendance records and timely submission of paperwork.
• Develop comprehensive plans for program supplies and logistics.
• Provide individual assistance for skill enhancement in language arts.
• Foster positive communication with participants and their families.
Requirements:
• Expertise in language arts program delivery and design.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
• Availability for evening and weekend classes.
• Required First Aid and CPR-C certifications.
• Must pass Police Vulnerable Sector Check before employment.
