Youth Program Instructor

Position: Youth Program Instructor Role
Make a difference in your community as a Youth Program Instructor with the Town of Newmarket. This role allows you to lead interactive programs that inspire youth across various seasons.

Become part of the Recreation and Culture Team, focusing on programs like Babysitting Training. Engage children of all backgrounds, ensuring that you meet diverse learning preferences while maintaining administrative tasks. Your leadership and enthusiasm will be key in creating memorable experiences for young participants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver youth training programs effectively

• Tailor course content to fit various learning styles

• Accurately take attendance and manage course paperwork

• Collaborate with the Recreation Programmer for improvements

• Prepare course environments alongside Youth Centre staff

Requirements:

• 1–2 years of instructional experience with youth

• Degree or diploma in Recreation, Leisure, or related field

• Strong leadership and customer service abilities

• Active Standard First Aid and CPR-C certifications

• Willingness to work evenings and weekends
