As the Supervisor of Programming & Outreach, you will report to the Manager of Programs & Outreach at Newmarket Public Library. This role encompasses the supervision of all library programming, ensuring it meets community standards and remains engaging. A blend of library experience and community engagement skills will enhance your effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and supervise library programming and community outreach

• Evaluate and enhance the diversity of library offerings

• Supervise Xplor capabilities for programming accuracy

• Collaborate with local organizations and stakeholders

• Manage budget preparation and financial tracking for programs

Requirements:

• Library and Information Technician credential or equivalent experience

• Skilled in Microsoft Office and internet-based applications

• Class G Driver’s license preferred

• Experience in project management and customer service

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
