Registered Early Childhood Educator

Join Upper Canada Child Care as a Registered Early Childhood Educator in Newmarket, Ontario. This full-time split shift role focuses on delivering play-based programs in a supportive environment.

We seek a passionate Registered Early Childhood Educator or equivalent to contribute to our Before and After School programs at Rogers PS & Canadian Martyrs CES. You will employ your knowledge of early childhood education while supporting children's growth and development in line with Ministry guidelines.

Your role includes providing care, documenting progress, and collaborating with other educators.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply Ministry of Education standards and program statements

• Engage positively with children to enhance learning

• Support administration tasks and maintain program logs

• Foster communication with parents about program developments

• Guide assistant educators and volunteers for effective teamwork

Requirements:

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education or approved equivalency

• Up-to-date registration with the College of ECEs

• Certification in CPR-C and Standard First Aid

• Experience in play-based program design

• Ability to supervise children in various settings
