Position: Early Childhood Educator Split Shift Role
Upper Canada Child Care is hiring an Early Childhood Educator in Newmarket, Ontario. This split shift position is vital for our Before and After School programs, focusing on children's developmental needs.

As a Registered Early Childhood Educator or equivalent, you will ensure that our child care services uphold Ministry of Education standards. The role involves creating engaging learning experiences, collaborating with a team, and communicating effectively with families about their children's progress. Your passion for early childhood development will support our mission of bringing smiles to children's faces every day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with educational and organizational standards

• Engage children actively for effective learning

• Document educational progress and daily activities

• Maintain positive communication with parents and the community

• Collaborate with staff and outside agencies for additional support

Requirements:

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education or similar qualification

• Current registration with the College of ECEs where applicable

• Certification in CPR-C and Standard First Aid

• Proficiency in play-based educational design

• Strong communication skills for parent and peer interactions
