Upper Child Care Assistant Educator

This position requires commitment to working a full 25-hour split shift in our Before & After School programs at Armitage Village PS. As an Assistant Educator, you will engage with children, ensuring they receive quality care and educational experiences while adhering to operational and curriculum standards as set by the Ministry of Education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply legislative requirements to program delivery

• Assist children with daily care activities and meals

• Communicate program details and updates to parents

• Complete necessary reports and administrative tasks

• Collaborate with peers and professionals in supporting children

Requirements:

• Up-to-date health assessment and immunization documentation

• Certification in CPR-C and First Aid (training provided)

• Understanding of children's developmental needs

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

• Capability to supervise children outdoors and physically engage
