Support education at THE RENFREW COUNTY DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD as a Classroom Support for the school year.
This role offers a dynamic environment assisting teachers and educators across various Arnprior and Renfrew schools.
The RENFREW COUNTY DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD is looking for Classroom Support applicants for the upcoming school year on an on-call basis. Candidates can choose their preferred schools for assignments. Responsibilities include assisting educators, following lesson plans, and maintaining a safe classroom environment while providing supervision as required.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist teachers and early childhood educators with daily activities
• Follow instructions and lesson plans as provided
• Maintain a respectful and caring atmosphere
• Supervise students as assigned by school administration
• Support personal care when necessary
Requirements:
• Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent required
• Post-secondary education in related field preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively in teams
• Experience in classroom or similar settings
• Current First Aid and BMS Training certificates are assets
