Shape young minds at Oxford Learning Simcoe by becoming a part-time STEM Tutor. Your expertise in math and science will inspire and empower students to reach their academic goals.
As a Teacher/Tutor, you will work in-person and assist students in Grades 9-12, leveraging your strong knowledge of the curriculum. This role emphasizes an engaging learning environment without the burden of lesson planning. Your commitment will enrich students’ educational journeys in a welcoming setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coach three students simultaneously in math and science
• Utilize Oxford Learning’s educational methodologies
• Complete post-class notes for student tracking
• Communicate regularly with students and parents
• Exhibit professionalism while creating a positive learning space
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject area
• Experience tutoring math and science at the high school level
• Strong communication abilities in English
• Ability to manage multiple students effectively
• Must undergo vulnerable sector screening
