Indigenous Art Teacher at St. Matthew CSS

Become an integral part of St. Matthew CSS as an Indigenous Art Teacher for Secondary students in Cornwall. This long-term occasional position offers a unique opportunity to inspire students and foster an appreciation for indigenous culture.

With a commitment to diversity and inclusion, the Catholic District School Board is seeking a qualified instructor with an Ontario College of Teacher's Certificate. You will effectively teach Indigenous Art while engaging students in the rich cultural heritage of Indigenous peoples. The role is part-time and will run until February 1, 2027.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Indigenous Art concepts and techniques to secondary students

• Foster appreciation of Indigenous culture and traditions

• Engage students through interactive lessons and projects

• Collaborate with fellow educators in curriculum development

• Keep up-to-date with Ministry regulations and teaching standards

Requirements:
