Enhance student experiences at the University of Waterloo as a full-time Student Transition and Engagement Officer. Drive engagement through initiatives that support first-year students from admission to graduation.

In this temporary role within the Faculty of Health, you will develop and facilitate programs aimed at enriching undergraduate student life. Collaborating with advisors and student leaders, you'll focus on creating a sense of belonging and promoting personal and academic development. Your work will significantly contribute to the success of students as they navigate their university journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop transition programs for first-year Health students

• Facilitate student orientation and supervise student leaders

• Coordinate events to enhance student engagement

• Update and manage student involvement websites

• Liaise with departments for co-op and career services

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Health

• Experience in student engagement or public relations

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects

• Current first aid certification required
