WRDSB is seeking qualified candidates for an Extended Day EA Level D role. This long-term opportunity is ideal for individuals passionate about educational support and influencing learning experiences. Applicants with relevant educational backgrounds and experience working with special needs children will excel in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support students during extended day activities
• Foster inclusive learning environments for special needs
• Collaborate with teachers to enhance student learning
• Conduct assessments to monitor student progress
• Assist in implementing individualized education plans
Requirements:
• Valid EA/CYW certification or relevant diploma
• Minimum one year experience with special needs support
• Proven skills in behavior management and autism training
• Ability to pass Physical Demands test
• First Aid and CPR certification required
