**** Duties and Responsibility**:
* Starting at $92,000/ annually.
* Immediate, open position.
* Develop and deploy AI-based automation systems for robotic assembly, welding, and material handling lines.
* Integrate computer vision for real-time defect detection, part verification, and surface inspection.
* Collaborate with controls engineers to enhance existing PLC - robot communication for smarter decision-making.
* Analyze production data (cycle times, scrap rates, downtime) to identify root causes and optimize line efficiency.
* Build data pipelines connecting shopfloor (robots, PLCs, and sensors) to AI analytics platforms (Edge or Cloud).
* Develop Power BI dashboards to visualize KPIs such as OEE, throughput, and quality trends.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives with AI-assisted process tuning.
* Implement predictive maintenance solutions using vibration, current, or temperature sensor data from robotic, compressor and other equipment.
* Participate in internal audits (ITGC, MAFACT, IATF) and maintain accurate documentation and change management system/control
* Available to respond to and resolve off hour inquiries and emergencies.
* Maintains familiarity with current technologies and future trends.

* Must comply with all ISO 14001 (Environmental) and OHSAS 18001 (Health and
* Safety) systems and standards as it pertains to their work
* Adhere to the IATF
16949 Standard as required

*** Enhance product quality via real-time defect detection.
* Optimize robotic workflows and material handling paths.
* Reduce unplanned downtime with predictive maintenance.
** Skills and

Qualifications:

*** Bachelor or Masters degree in Mechatronics, Automation, Computer Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
* 3+ years of experience in automotive manufacturing or a high-volume industrial automation environment.
* Hands-on experience with PLC, industrial robots, IoT sensors
* Proficiency with Ignition, SQL Programming, Python
* AI / ML frameworks (Tensor Flow, PyTorch), and computer vision tools (OpenCV).
* Experienced in implementing neural net based classifiers.
* Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and reinforcement learning technics.
* Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (OPC-UA, Modbus, MQTT).
* Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and process control principles.
** Preferred
* ** Experience implementing AI vision systems for assembly and final inspection.
* Background with predictive maintenance or industrial IoT.##
