About this opportunity

The Quality Engineering Intern will work on the quality team to support first‑article reports to our customers, ensuring that products meet all customer specifications and drawings.

Preferred Skills
  • Engineering principles and basic knowledge of manufacturing processes
  • Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to read/interpret engineering drawings and customer specifications
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
  • Ability to work effectively autonomously once trained
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills

Activities
  • Ensure product compliance to customer requirements
  • Perform comprehensive verification to ensure products comply with all customer requirements, specifications, and drawings
  • Compile First Article Inspection reports for various customers
  • Participate in resolving customer, supplier, and internal quality issues promptly and efficiently

    Participate in product quality improvements, and monitoring and reporting quality performance
  • Participating in Product Quality Planning:
    Identifying critical product quality requirements, potential risk areas, and ensuring appropriate measures are in place
  • Participate in regular internal quality review meetings
Physical Demands, duties of this position are varied and will include:

Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.
