Junior Quality Engineer & DMN Administrator

Position Overview

Multimatic Niche Vehicles North America (MNVNA) is the exclusive production facility of the Ford GTD Mustang. MNVNA is seeking a Junior Quality Engineer & DMN Administrator who will be responsible for creating, tracking, administrating and following up on all Internal and External DMNs (Defective Material Notifications) and Quality Alerts. They will also follow the 24‑hour containment, 14‑day permanent corrective action, and 30‑day corrective action verification and closure rules.

The candidate will assume ownership of the External DMN log, Internal DMN & Cost of Quality log and serve as the primary point of contact for all supplier quality issues.

• Issue/initiate DMNs for supplier quality issues discovered in all areas of the manufacturing and warehouse floor
• Administer DMN Log
• Issue/initiate Quality Alerts for supplier quality concerns discovered in all areas of the manufacturing and warehouse floor
• Administer Quality Alert Log
• Issue/initiate internal DMNs to track Cost of Quality due to MNV‑caused defective material
• Administer Internal DMN/COQ Log
• 24‑hour, 14‑day, and 30‑day follow‑up on all issued supplier DMNs
• Participate in quality training functions as required
• Maintain customer, company and supplier confidentiality
• Must comply with ISO 9001/TS 16949, ISO 14001 (Environmental) and OHSA (Health and Safety) systems and standards
• Adhere to Multimatic’s quality‑focused attitude and work culture
• All other duties as assigned

• Engineering Technologist Diploma or Engineering Degree
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of Tier 1 automotive quality engineering experience
• Sound knowledge of the 8‑D process and root cause analysis
• Experience with automotive customer specifics, including AIAG requirements
• Sound understanding of SPC, engineering drawings, CAD & GD&T
• Experience in supplier quality assurance is an asset

This job posting is for an existing vacancy. The total cash compensation range for this position is expected to be $47,424.00 – $87,000.00.
