Associate Development Specialist

Reporting to the Manager of Development Review, this position requires a university degree in Urban Planning or related fields. You will generate reports, analyze mapping information, and support the development approval process.

Your role ensures that development submissions meet necessary criteria and assists planners in producing legislated documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain technical information and mapping data

• Generate reports on planning and infrastructure details

• Review development submissions for accuracy and completeness

• Produce reports on new development applications

• Coordinate comments from regional departments on planning proposals

Requirements:

• University degree in Urban Planning or similar

• Experience in planning field with progressive responsibility

• Knowledge of the planning approvals process

• Proficiency in MS Office applications

• Strong organizational skills to meet deadlines
