Expert Supply Chain Engineer, Marine & Ports

Enhance ABB's Marine and Ports business as an Expert Supply Chain Engineer, focusing on supplier quality and performance. Work cross-functionally to drive continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain.
In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with procurement and operational teams to monitor supplier performance and quality standards. You'll identify, qualify, and onboard new suppliers while addressing corrective actions and enhancing operational efficiency. Your ability to analyze supplier bids will also play a crucial role in sourcing decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead quality activities and validate supplier processes

• Monitor supplier metrics for quality and delivery

• Implement corrective actions for supplier issues

• Collaborate with sourcing teams during onboarding

• Analyze bids and recommend sourcing solutions
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or technical field

• At least 5 years of relevant supply chain experience

• Familiarity with Marine industry practices

• Strong skills in supplier development and management

• Excellent analytical and presentation skills
