Water and Wastewater Project Engineer

Elevate water project management as a Project Engineer with York Region. Oversee infrastructure delivery, from planning to execution, ensuring top-notch quality and compliance.

As a Project Engineer, you will manage water and wastewater projects under the guidance of a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager. This role emphasizes technical support and leadership through feasibility studies, design documentation, and construction stages. You'll innovate quality control programs, liaise with various stakeholders, and uphold project standards for infrastructure development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage water/wastewater project delivery activities

• Prepare feasibility studies and design documentation

• Review shop drawings and attend site inspections

• Ensure quality assurance and continuous improvement

• Oversee engineering consultants and project teams

Requirements:

• University Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, etc.)

• P. Eng. certification with Professional Engineers Ontario

• Minimum five years of relevant project experience

• Knowledge of water treatment and distribution systems

• Strong project management and leadership skills
