This role at Magna's Mechatronics, Mirrors, and Lighting group is vital for developing unique automotive technologies. Your responsibilities will include overseeing project automation from conceptualization to execution and training teams in best digital practices. You'll ensure that lean strategies guide these projects while validating new technologies through proof of concept initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead automation project development and execution
• Develop comprehensive Statements of Work for initiatives
• Communicate progress with suppliers and stakeholders
• Conduct technology evaluations and proof of concepts
• Train teams in the latest digitalization tools
Requirements:
• Degree in a related engineering field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in automation engineering
• Ability to read and create mechanical drawings
• Proficient in AutoCAD and basic robot programming
• Knowledge of PLC programming and project management methodologies
