Position: GIS Supervisor at Town of Georgina
Location: Georgina

Lead the GIS and Data Analytics team at the Town of Georgina, providing strategic oversight in a permanent, full-time role. Enhance governance and decision-making through innovative geospatial solutions.

As the Supervisor of GIS and Data Analytics, you will guide the GIS team and coordinate the development of data-driven tools. This position focuses on effective leadership, GIS data management, and technical innovation to support the town's strategic objectives. You will also manage projects, advocate for open data expansion, and ensure team compliance with policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise GIS team and oversee project assignments

• Lead GIS Steering Committee and User Group meetings

• Ensure integrity of corporate GIS data and compliance

• Develop spatial data policies and procedures

• Provide technical support for GIS applications

Requirements:

• Four-year degree in GIS or related field

• Seven years of GIS experience in a corporate setting

• Advanced knowledge of ESRI ArcGIS software

• Experience in GIS project management

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Project Management tools
