As part of the Magna Mechatronics, Mirrors, and Lighting group, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing advanced automation technologies. With a focus on leadership and collaboration, you'll engage with suppliers and internal teams to achieve project success while ensuring compliance with Lean methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop Statements of Work for automation efforts
• Lead projects from design through to execution
• Monitor and assess supplier performance during projects
• Validate new technologies with proof of concept initiatives
• Train manufacturing engineering teams on automation tools
Requirements:
• University Degree or College Diploma in relevant field
• Over 5 years' experience in manufacturing automation
• Skilled in reading and creating mechanical drawings
• Experience with Robot programming fundamentals
• Proficient in PLC programming and networking
