Manufacturing Engineer Co-op at Magna

Drive innovation with Magna as a Manufacturing Engineering Co-op. This role supports engineering efforts in automotive technologies through quality analysis and enhancement strategies.

As a co-op with Magna’s Mechatronics, Mirrors, and Lighting group, you'll engage in dynamic engineering tasks. Your support will aid in new program launches, manufacturing prototype builds, and analyzing quality and productivity issues. This position offers an excellent introduction to automotive technology with a focus on safety and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Manufacturing Engineer on all programs and launches

• Analyze internal quality and productivity issues

• Update documentation for Quality Operating System reviews

• Assist with quotations for continuous improvement opportunities

• Perform Ergonomic/Safety risk assessments and audits

Requirements:

• High school completion or equivalent

• Less than 1 year of work-related experience

• Enrolled in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering program

• Familiarity with automotive manufacturing is an asset

• Ability to read AutoCAD layouts and blueprints
