Become a vital part of the Municipality of Grey Highlands as an Infrastructure Engineering Technician. This full-time role focuses on municipal infrastructure, development proposals, and technical reviews.
The Municipality of Grey Highlands seeks to hire an Infrastructure Engineering Technician who will report to the Manager of Transportation Infrastructure. You will conduct technical reviews, analyze development applications, and work closely with various stakeholders to ensure compliance with engineering standards. This role involves preparing reports, contributing to development agreements, and supporting municipal infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct technical reviews of development plans and reports
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on compliance
• Draft reports, development agreements, and proposals
• Manage project files and ensure communication is clear
• Conduct field inspections and troubleshoot design issues
Requirements:
• Civil engineering technologist diploma or equivalent
• Four years of related municipal experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and GIS
• Knowledge of relevant engineering standards and practices
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
