Position: Designer Role in Automotive Innovation

As a member of the Magna Mechatronics team, you’ll be responsible for developing advanced automotive designs that prioritize safety, innovation, and style. Your expertise will help explore new product avenues and enhance existing technologies, with at least 4 years in design and proven CAD abilities required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently create intricate design components and assemblies

• Generate problem-solving concept sketches and studies

• Develop and revise comprehensive CAD designs (3D & 2D)

• Collaborate to optimize designs through engineering analysis

• Mentor peers on design principles and CAD best practices

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering or a related discipline

• Minimum 4 years of component and assembly design experience

• Strong knowledge of GD&T and engineering calculations

• Proficient in CATIA V5

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
