Automotive Design Engineer at Magna

In this full-time role, you will engage in CAD design, addressing complex engineering challenges and working on projects with diverse customers. You'll be responsible for generating innovative product designs, collaborating with project engineers, and managing design changes effectively. Contributing to both new and existing technologies, the position emphasizes creative problem-solving and effective communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and revise components and assemblies for automotive projects

• Generate CAD designs based on internal and customer specifications

• Support project engineers with studies and concept sketches

• Manage customer/supplier communications and relationships

• Develop test plans and monitor ongoing testing processes

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field

• Minimum 3 years of experience in CAD design

• Proficient in CATIA V5 and GD&T

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Experience with problem-solving methodologies
