Student Quality Co-op - Magna

Enhance your engineering skills with the Quality Engineering Co-op k within the Mechatronics, Mirrors & Lighting group to contribute to cutting-edge automotive solutions in a collaborative atmosphere.

This role is perfect for students in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering. You will assist in various quality initiatives, including analyzing productivity and quality metrics. This co-op offers hands-on experience in supporting automotive manufacturing quality and safety through thorough assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide assistance to the Quality Engineer on projects

• Monitor and analyze productivity and quality issues

• Update QOS presentation materials and metrics

• Support ergonomic and safety review processes

• Contribute to new program quotes and improvements

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Currently enrolled in a relevant post-secondary engineering program

• Minimal work-related experience needed

• Familiarity with AutoCAD and Statistical Process Control

• Basic understanding of Ergonomics is a plus
