Elevate your engineering career with Southlake Health as a 3rd Class Stationary Engineer in Newmarket, Ontario. This permanent, full-time role focuses on operations and maintenance of hospital systems, including HVAC and fire safety.
As a certified 3rd Class Stationary/Power Engineer, you will oversee the 24/7 Registered Power Plant and related hospital equipment. Key responsibilities include managing heating, cooling, and emergency power systems, while conducting regular maintenance and responding to urgent situations. Your experience in hospital building systems and mechanical skills will ensure optimal operational functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and maintain hospital power plant systems
• Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs
• Manage HVAC and fire safety systems
• Respond to emergency after-hours calls
• Ensure compliance with operational standards
Requirements:
• Certification as 3rd Class Stationary/Power Engineer
• 5 years experience in hospital systems
• Strong mechanical aptitude and organizational skills
• Commitment to teamwork and customer service
• Grade 12 education minimum
