Infrastructure Engineer - Hybrid Opportunity

Become an Infrastructure Engineer at York Region, contributing to water and wastewater systems management in a hybrid work model. Drive improvements in infrastructure performance through analysis and innovative programs.

This permanent full-time role reports to a Project Manager and requires a strong background in infrastructure management. Key responsibilities include developing inspection programs, conducting risk assessments, and coordinating condition ratings. You will play a crucial role in enhancing the safety and effectiveness of the region's water and wastewater systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze water and wastewater system performance

• Develop inspection and data collection programs

• Conduct risk assessments for infrastructure

• Prepare technical reports and management presentations

• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

• University Degree in Engineering (P. Eng. required)

• Minimum five years of relevant experience

• Knowledge of municipal infrastructure management principles

• Familiarity with legislation and regulatory requirements

• Understanding of hydraulic systems and budgeting processes
