Your role is pivotal in driving innovation and efficiency.
As an individual contributor in engineering, you will independently develop tooling solutions that meet customer and industry standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, conduct technical meetings, and analyze system performance. Your experience with CAD/CAM software and precision machining will ensure successful implementation of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Independently design, modify, and implement tooling systems
• Conduct testing and simulation to verify tooling effectiveness
• Work with suppliers and internal teams for project success
• Select and operate machinery for precision tooling operations
• Interpret blueprints and ensure specifications are met
Requirements:
• 5 to 10 years related experience as a Certified Machinist
• Must possess valid Machinist Certification from Skilled Trades Ontario
• Proficient in CNC operations, GDT, and GD&T-related techniques
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities
