Elevate your engineering career at Celestica as a Lead Engineer in Systems Applications Design. This role, based in Newmarket, ON, focuses on advanced tooling design and manufacturing.
As an Individual Contributor at level 07, you will design and develop innovative tooling systems while collaborating with diverse engineering teams. Your expertise in CNC programming, machining operations, and GD&T will facilitate seamless project execution, meeting both customer and production needs. Proficiency in CAD software is critical to enhance design quality and facilitate effective problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement advanced tooling systems
• Conduct testing, simulation, and performance measurement
• Liaise with suppliers and internal teams for project success
• Analyze data to recommend system modifications
• Program parts using CAD CAM software
Requirements:
• Machinist Certification from Skilled Trades Ontario
• 5 to 10 years of machining experience
• In-depth knowledge of CNC, Mills, and Lathes
• Strong communication and team leadership skills
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical issues
