Join Toromont as a Process Engineering Specialist focused on optimizing automation and facility performance. You will work on robotic systems and enhance shop operations while ensuring compliance.
This full-time, permanent role requires a minimum of 3-6 years of experience in a similar position. You will develop and maintain technical documentation, monitor automation systems, and analyze operational workflows for continuous improvement. Your contributions will lead to enhanced reliability and efficiency in operations while supporting health, safety, and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and maintain process maps and compliance documentation
• Develop and troubleshoot robotic programs for automation
• Monitor system parameters for operational reliability
• Conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Recommend continuous improvement initiatives using CI tools
Requirements:
• 3-6 years in process engineering or related field
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Electrical
• Strong background in hydraulics and powertrain systems
• Experience in robotic programming and reliability engineering
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation is an asset
