Overview
The Communicative Disorders Assistant (CDA) provides speech, language and swallowing services to acute, rehab or complex care patients under the supervision and guidance of the Speech-Language Pathologist, in one-on-one and group settings. The CDA will treat patients with conditions including frailty, tracheostomy, stroke and other neurological disorders.
Responsibilities- Provide speech, language and swallowing services to patients under supervision of a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Deliver services in one-on-one and group settings.
- Work with patients who may be frail or have tracheostomies or neurological disorders.
