About the role:

The Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) in the Histology Laboratory provides a professional service in laboratory analyses and interpretation. The MLT contributes to the Laboratory Quality Management System (QMS) by participation in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, quality improvement initiatives and procedure development and by adhering to the policies, processes and procedures that are part of the QMS.
** What you'll bring:
*** Graduate from a recognized Medical Laboratory Technology program and CSMLS certification as a General MLT
* Minimum of 6 months in a hospital lab environment in Histology preferred
* Immuno histo chemistry experience preferred
* Member in good standing with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario (CMLTO)
* Demonstrates excellence in communication, both written and verbal
* Analysis / problem assessment
* Innovative and willing to learn
* Commitment to customer service and teamwork
* Demonstrates individual leadership skills
