Position: Faculty Relations Director with Laurentian University
Join Laurentian University as the Director of Faculty Relations, guiding labor relations strategy and collective bargaining efforts. Enhance faculty partnerships while managing compliance and conflict resolution processes.

This leadership role reports to the Associate Vice-President of Faculty Support. Your responsibilities will include negotiating collective agreements, providing guidance on complex labor issues, and developing strategies for proactive relationships within the faculty. You will mentor your team and oversee dispute resolution, ensuring alignment with sector trends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee implementation of faculty relations strategies

• Negotiate and prepare for collective bargaining

• Manage complex labor relations issues proactively

• Build collaborative relationships with labor partners

• Facilitate training and development workshops

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field, advanced degree appreciated

• 5-8 years of labor relations experience required

• Managerial experience of 3-5 years preferred

• Strong verbal and written English and French skills

• Knowledge of collective bargaining and employment legislation
