Role Overview

We are looking for a Digital Marketing Strategist to own day-to-day performance and demand generation strategy, with a primary focus on SEO and Paid Media, while maintaining strong cross-channel and technical understanding of the broader B2B marketing ecosystem. This role sits between senior leadership and execution teams. The Strategist is responsible for translating business objectives into channel strategy, guiding execution, and communicating performance insights directly to clients.

This is a client-facing ownership role. You will work in tandem with senior leadership while independently managing account-level performance and growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performance & Demand Generation Strategy Ownership
    • Own end-to-end SEO and Paid Media strategy across assigned B2B client accounts
    • Translate revenue and pipeline goals into:
      Channel strategies, Testing roadmaps, Performance optimization plans
  • Ensure alignment across: SEO, SEM / Paid Media, Lead generation and conversion strategy, Full-funnel attribution
B2B Lead Generation & Funnel Optimization
  • Design and optimize marketing programs focused on: MQL and SQL generation, Pipeline acceleration, High-intent conversion flows
  • Understand B2B buyer journeys, longer sales cycles, and multi-touch decision-making
  • Support ABM-oriented strategies using:
    Target account segmentation, Matched audiences, Retargeting and nurture workflow
Client Communication & Performance Storytelling
  • Lead client-facing conversations including:
    Monthly performance reviews, Optimization discussions, Strategic planning and recommendations
  • Translate channel performance into clear business outcomes:
    Lead quality, Conversion rates, Cost per opportunity, Pipeline contribution
  • Confidently defend recommendations and guide next-step priorities
Execution Oversight & Technical Enablement
  • Guide and coordinate execution across: SEO Specialists, Ad Operations Specialists, Developers and offshore resources
  • Review outputs for quality, accuracy, and strategic alignment
  • Maintain hands-on platform familiarity when required, including:
    Google Ads, SEO tooling, Analytics and tracking validation
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to:
    Lead tracking, Forms and conversion points, Attribution gaps, Platform and CRM integrations
Marketing Technology & Integrations (Modern B2B Stack)
  • Work confidently across key marketing systems, including:
    Word Press and landing page environments, Hub Spot and Zoho CRM workflows, Apollo, Active Campaign, and outbound/nurture tools, Zapier, , n8n automations, Form systems (Gravity Forms, Hub Spot Forms, embedded solutions)
  • Ensure performance marketing connects properly to: CRM pipelines, Lead routing, Automation sequences, Sales enablement outcomes
AI-Assisted Strategy & Optimization
  • Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, automation workflows) to:
    Accelerate insight generation, Improve testing velocity, Support content and campaign ideation, Enhance operational efficiency
  • Apply AI thoughtfully—validating all insights against real performance data and client context.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 4–7 years of digital marketing experience (agency experience strongly preferred)
  • Strong ownership experience in: SEO strategy, Paid Media / SEM strategy
  • Demonstrated understanding of B2B lead generation and demand capture
  • Comfortable being client-facing and leading performance discussions
  • Strong technical understanding of:
    Analytics and conversion tracking, Lead generation workflows, Marketing automation and CRM alignment
