Wage Transparency: Base salary range $55,000 to $75,000. Compensation may vary with experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level, scope, and location. Performance incentives possible.

The Role

Regardless of their individual specialties, each personal lines team member has one thing in common: a personal responsibility for getting you the answers, support or services you need, when you need them. We’re looking for a Retention Focused Client Manager who will leverage their industry knowledge and expertise to provide front‑line counselling to our clients about their personal insurance coverage.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide exceptional day‑to‑day customer service to clients while handling the client file activities to maintain retention targets
  • Respond to company‑initiated non‑renewals and rewrites while keeping the client’s needs and overall experience as the top priority
  • Quote and process remarkets, and also review renewals and mid‑term changes to ensure accuracy and a positive client experience
  • Contribute to premium growth targets by upselling appropriate coverages and referring business to other lines where applicable
  • Opportunity to work on “Special Projects” as they arise based on business needs
  • Stay up to date with insurer partner products, offerings, and market intelligence
What You Bring
  • RIBO License in good standing required; AB Gen 1 or another provincial license an asset
  • Typically more than 3 years of personal lines experience – preferably with broad market portal experience including mutuals markets
  • Proven experience managing a high volume of clients
  • Previous experience in a Contact Centre environment is an asset
  • Excellent computer skills expected, including fluency in Broker management systems – EPIC & ARS fluency are an asset
  • Ability to drive strong customer retention by providing a world‑class customer experience
  • Exceptional quotation skills for cross‑selling, upselling and remarketing
  • Ability to quickly learn the NFP business model and value proposition
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others, both in person and virtually
  • Strong oral and written communications skills
  • Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced & demanding environment while keeping customer service a priority
  • Ability to communicate clearly and explain complex concepts in both official languages (French and English) is an asset
  • Professional insurance designation a plus (CAIB, CIP, CRM, etc.)
