In this role, you will lead purchasing activities for assigned automotive commodities, concentrating on supplier negotiations and cost reduction strategies. Previous experience in automotive, transportation, or aerospace industries is essential, along with strong interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee commodity portfolio management
• Lead RFQ management and contract negotiations
• Implement cost savings initiatives with suppliers
• Analyze trends impacting sourcing strategies
• Monitor supplier performance metrics
Requirements:
• 3-5 years in sourcing or purchasing
• Bachelor’s in Supply Chain Management preferred
• Experience with purchase orders and material planning
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills required
• Strong analytical and commercial acumen
