In this pivotal position, you will own the management of free trade agreements, customs requests, and tariff classifications. Collaborating with internal stakeholders, including Purchasing and R&D, you'll provide analytical support and develop strategies for effective sourcing and customer quotes. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and possess excellent communication skills along with a background in customs compliance, this role is designed for you.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage free trade agreement processes and documentation
• Provide customs information and support to internal teams
• Analyze duty impacts to assist sourcing and cost calculations
• Maintain tariff classification databases and ensure compliance
• Support customs broker relationships and audit preparations
Requirements:
• 3+ years in customs and trade compliance
• Understanding of Canada and U.S. customs regulations
• Experience with ERP systems like SAP
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Customs Certified Specialist designation preferred
