As part of your role, you will take ownership of the free trade agreement management and provide crucial support to various internal departments, including Finance and Sales. With your expertise, you will conduct duty impact analysis and manage sensitive compliance documentation, making you an integral asset in promoting Magna's international trade compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the free trade agreement solicitation and qualification
• Compile and maintain customs compliance documentation
• Analyze and manage duty impacts for sourcing decisions
• Ensure accurate tariff classifications for production parts
• Respond to customs requests and manage audits
Requirements:
• At least 3 years of experience in customs leadership
• Knowledge of U.S. and Canadian customs regulations
• Proficient in ERP systems; experience with SAP preferred
• Demonstrated communication and teamwork skills
• Customs Certified Specialist designation is beneficial
