Position: Senior Buyer for Automotive Technologies
Drive purchasing strategies at Magna as a Senior Buyer specializing in automotive technologies. Collaborate with global teams to optimize sourcing and supplier relationships in a dynamic environment.

As part of Magna's Global Purchasing Organization, you will focus on implementing comprehensive purchasing strategies aligned with commodity roadmaps and company objectives.

Your role will encompass managing RFQs, evaluating supplier cost structures, and leading negotiations for optimal supplier agreements. You'll work collaboratively with various divisions, including Engineering and Quality, to ensure supply chain efficiency and cost savings initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement commodity strategies for assigned categories

• Manage RFQs and supplier evaluations for cost optimization

• Lead the establishment of Long Term Agreements with suppliers

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for supply chain management

• Communicate critical supply issues to senior management

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field

• 3-5 years in purchasing within automotive manufacturing

• Experience with commodity sourcing and negotiations

• Ability to travel approximately 20% of the time

• Strong background in supply chain management best practices
