Aurora Generators is seeking a proactive, technically inclined, and detail-oriented
Parts and Inventory Coordinator to support the manufacture of high-quality diesel power generators for residential, industrial, commercial, and off-grid applications.
In this hands-on role, you will take ownership of day-to-day inventory control, purchasing, parts sourcing, shipping and receiving, supplier relations, and warehouse organization. You will ensure that the correct parts and materials are available when needed, helping our production team avoid delays and operate efficiently.
The ideal candidate has experience in inventory, procurement, parts management, warehousing, or manufacturing. Familiarity with electrical, electronic, mechanical, engine, heavy-equipment, or power-generation components would be a strong asset.
We provide product-specific training and are looking for someone who is organized, reliable, accurate, comfortable with technology, able to work on a team, take instruction from upper management and eager to develop their technical knowledge.

Responsibilities- Monitor inventory levels and ensure parts and materials are available for scheduled manufacturing orders.
- Monitor stock levels in conjunction with incoming customer orders
- Accurately issue parts and materials to production staff.
- Conduct regular cycle counts, stock audits, and physical inventory counts.
- Investigate and correct inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate part numbers, quantities, descriptions, costs, locations, and other inventory data.
- Review usage trends and help anticipate future parts and material requirements.
- Identify potential shortages and communicate them to production and management before they affect scheduled work.
- Assist internal team members with parts requests and resolve inventory-related issues promptly.
- Create, submit, and maintain purchase orders.
- Source electrical, electronic, engine, alternator, mechanical, and generator-related parts and materials.
- Obtain and compare supplier quotations based on pricing, quality, availability, and lead time.
- Work with suppliers to confirm delivery schedules and resolve shortages, back orders, damaged goods, and incorrect shipments.
- Develop and maintain strong, professional supplier relationships.
- Help identify alternative suppliers or substitute parts when required.
- Support purchasing decisions by monitoring order history, usage patterns, supplier performance, and expected demand.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using
Cin7 Core/DEAR Systemsor comparable ERP or inventory-management software. - Process purchase orders, receipts, shipments, inventory transfers, and stock adjustments accurately.
- Ensure electronic records match physical inventory and supporting documents.
- Maintain organized purchasing, receiving, and inventory documentation.
- Assist with improving inventory, procurement, and warehouse procedures.
- Receive incoming shipments and verify part numbers, quantities, condition, and supporting documents.
- Identify and report damaged, missing, or incorrect materials.
- Prepare, document, and process outgoing shipments and deliveries.
- Organize and maintain warehouse shelves, inventory locations, receiving areas, and parts-storage areas.
- Label, store, and handle parts and materials safely and accurately.
- Safely operate a forklift and other appropriate material-handling equipment.
- 1+ years experience in inventory control, purchasing, procurement, parts management, shipping and receiving, warehousing, manufacturing, or a related role.
- Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accurate data-entry skills.
- 1+ years experience using inventory-management, purchasing, or ERP software.
- Basic computer proficiency, including email, spreadsheets, and electronic record keeping.
- Ability to work accurately with part numbers, purchase orders, packing slips, invoices, and bills of materials.
- Ability to prioritize competing requirements and follow tasks through to completion.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Dependable attendance, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.
Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team. - Comfortable working in an active manufacturing and warehouse environment.
- Ability to safely lift and move parts and materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable access to a vehicle.
- Safety footwear suitable for a manufacturing and warehouse environment.
- Experience using
Cin7 Core, DEAR Systems, or comparable inventory-management software. - Experience purchasing or managing electrical, electronic, mechanical, automotive, heavy-equipment, or industrial components.
