Salary: $40,000 - $49,000 annually

• Perform preventive, routine, emergency, and general maintenance duties across residential properties, including suite turnover and ensuring units are rent‑ready.
• Conduct daily building inspections, troubleshoot maintenance issues, and complete minor plumbing, electrical, HVAC, boiler, and mechanical repairs.
• Coordinate and prioritize work orders, ensuring resident requests and service concerns are addressed promptly and efficiently.
• Oversee contractors, cleaning staff, and vendors while ensuring quality, safety, and operational compliance across the property.
• Maintain building systems including elevators, fire panels, sprinklers, boilers, and mechanical equipment while keeping accurate maintenance and service records.
• Support overall property upkeep through exterior maintenance, snow removal, cleanliness, safety compliance, and emergency/on‑call response duties.
• Foster strong resident relationships through excellent customer service, prompt communication, and issue resolution.
• Promote environmental sustainability initiatives, safe work practices, and energy‑efficient building operations.

• Five years’ experience in all areas of building operations, including mechanical, fire and safety, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• General building construction knowledge and experience.
• Ability to read and review construction drawings.
• High school diploma supplemented with post‑secondary courses.
• WHMIS and First Aid training an asset.
• Effective and professional oral and written communication in English, with superior ability to develop and sustain cooperative relationships with staff, contractors, the public and especially tenants.
• Strong time‑management skills, ability to work under pressure, manage tight deadlines, handle multiple demands and competing priorities, and adapt to new ideas and constant changes.
• Willingness and availability for after‑hours callouts in emergency or unavoidable situations.
