In this hands-on role, you will manage the environmental services team, ensuring all maintenance and housekeeping activities align with our mission to delight residents. You are expected to bring your technical expertise to daily operations, focusing on sustainability and safety standards while collaborating with leadership to develop a welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee maintenance and housekeeping operations
• Ensure proactive measures for building safety and consistency
• Collaborate with the Executive Director for optimal resident satisfaction
• Drive environmental sustainability initiatives
• Participate in training and mentoring of the team
Requirements:
• At least 3 years in maintenance services, preferably with seniors
• Experience leading a team is an asset; union knowledge helpful
• Familiarity with HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Certification in facility management or related trade
• Willingness to undergo Vulnerable Sector Check if necessary
