STRIVE Recruitment is currently hiring a CNC 5 Axis Machinist for a growing fabrication shop in New Market, ON. Operate two (2) 5-axis CNC machinesPerform machine setup and manage tooling requirementsMachine H13 steel die cast cavity insertsSet up of machinesRead and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructionsVerify dimensions and tolerances using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, CMM, gauges)Load, modify, and prove out CNC programs as requiredMonitor machining processes and make offsets or adjustments to maintain qualityInspect finished parts to ensure conformance to specificationsREQUIREMENTS
CNC 5 axis expereinceKnowledge of Mazak controls is considered an asset.Strong communication skillsBasic computer skills requiredExperience with Microsoft Office is an assetExperience with DMG DMU 5-axis machines is an assetFamiliarity with Heidenhain controls is an asset#INDSTRIVEON
