Material Handler

Position: Material Handler - Afternoons
Adecco is looking for several motivated Material Handlers to work afternoon shift at Celestica in Newmarket, ON. Celestica is a leader in high-reliability design, manufacturing and supply chain solutions. In this role you will be responsible for receiving, counting, and organizing incoming stock.
This role is a full-time position and requires the ability to work 40 hours weekly. This role also requires that you are legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
As this role is subject to the Canadian Government's Controlled Goods Program (CGP) the qualifying applicants must possess Canadian Citizenship or permanent residency status. A work permit status is not eligible for this role

• Pay rate: $ 19.26/hour
• Location: Harry Walker Pkwy S, Newmarket, ON L3Y 8T3
• Afternoon Shift: 3:00pm
  -11:30pm
• Job Type: Full Time (40 hours) Long Term, Temporary to Permanent Opportunity.

Job responsibilities:

• Receiving, counting, and organizing incoming stock
• Stocking the production floor with necessary materials
• Basic computer skills
• Lifting up to 35lbs
• Comfortable standing and walking for duration of shift

Qualifications and Skills:

• Ability to maintain records of goods movement in Microsoft excel
• Previous knowledge of material replenishment would be added advantage
• Clear criminal background
• Excellent communication skills (reading, speaking, writing)
• You must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
