Position: Boring Mill Machinist
THE ROLE
We have an excellent opportunity working with a reputable team driven company in the tool fabrication industry.
STRIVE Recruitment is currently hiring as experienced Horizontal/Vertical CNC Boring Mill Machinists to work in their specialized, air-conditioned facility with one of the leading manufacturers in the Tool Fabrication industry.

Setup and Operation: Set up, program, and operate large Horizontal/Vertical CNC boring mills.Precision Machining: Perform precision boring, milling, drilling, and tapping to tight tolerances.Programming: Edit or modify existing CNC programs and potentially generate new programs.Quality Inspection: Verify dimensions of machined parts using precision instruments like micrometers and calipers.Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on machinery and tooling.REQUIREMENTS
Relevant experience in CNC boring mill operation.Experience with Heidenhain control and Power Mill software is an asset.Strong blueprint reading, understanding of GD&T, and ability to select proper cutting tools.Good communication skills and basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).Team player#INDSTRIVEON
